The name 101 comes from Halston's address at 101 East 63rd Street, New York City. Halston 101 has definite pine, cedar and sage notes right from the beginning. The heart of pine remains until its last steps into a cedarwood musk. This fragrance has a very nice coniferous-floral-woody-leathery quality. Great top notes, with a wonderfully warm, spicy drydown. This spicy/warm fragrance is classy and not at all overpowering. It has wonderful staying power. Halston 101 is really Halston's most distinctive men's fragrance.
